LMPS Bible Study
Hi Ladies,
So we will be starting an online Bible Study here at the LMPS!
All are welcome to join us at anytime, and if you fall behind, don't beat yourself up about it - just pick up and continue! The Lord sees all our efforts and He gives grace! :)
We will be starting with the Book of Proverbs - as we know Proverbs is not a book of promises but a book of Instruction, and we feel it is the best way to begin our renewed lives at the LMPS by going deeper into how we can really live our lives as Christians women!
We will be posting regularly on the Blog to keep us all accountable, so please check in regularly. The schedule of posts will be as follows:
Mondays:
- Verse Of The Week
- Weekly Bible Reading Plan
- Post From One of the Ladies of the Leadership Team (or a special guest) covering the days reading
- Recap Lessons Learnt During the Week
- #WhatIsJesusTeachingMe
Thanks to the amazing ladies at Good Morning Girls, we will be using the S.O.A.K method of studying Scripture.

S: Scripture - After reading the passage of the day, write out the verse or verses that resonated the most with you. Write it all out slowly in your journal.
O: Observation - What do you notice about the verse(s)? What stuck you? What teaching is there or what promise can you hold on to? Write this down as well.
A: Application - Just reading and observing isn't much good, if we don't practically apply it to our lives. So here, make a note of the Action you will take as a result of the Observation in the Scripture you've read.
K: Kneeling in Prayer - This is by far the most important part. We know we can do nothing by our own power or might, but only by the grace of GOD! So here is where we pray (kneeling if you can) about the Scripture you've read and how you want to apply it to your life. Ask GOD to give you the grace to apply it to your life.
Your journal can look something like this:

We are so excited about the Bible Study and we do hope that you are as excited as we are! :)
We cannot wait to delve into Scripture with you, and I pray that by the end of our study together, we will not remain the same in the name of Jesus, amen!
Remain in God's love!
