October Reflection!!!

One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”   He said to them, “When you pray, say: ‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation. [Luke 11: 1 – 4] Hi beautiful daughters of God, As we know, this month is our month of “ PRAYER ”.   As we are a group of praying ladies, this month is especially important to us and so we have a number of bullet points on different aspects of prayer to help us contemplate the idea of prayer and make any necessary changes to our prayer life.   Some of the sentences will challenge us to examine our lives, our previous ideas and conceptions, our families and our homes.   Pray for the light of the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what needs to be changed in your prayer lif...

October Prayer Session!

Hi beautiful daughters of God, First off, I’ll like to sincerely apologise.   I realise it has been a long while since we posted anything on here.  We're juggling many balls at the same time and sometimes, it can seem easier to just let a ball or two fall.  We  are having a couple of administrative problems but by the grace of God, all will be well! J Our theme for this month is “ Prayer ” !   There are so many references made to prayer in the New Testament but what I want us to meditate on for now is Luke 11:1 – 4 .   Jesus had just finished praying in a certain place and when He was done, one of His disciples asked Him to teach them to pray and He taught them the “Our Father”. Prayer is simply the raising up of our minds and hearts to God by thinking of Him, by adoring, praising and thanking Him and by begging Him of all blessings for our soul and our body.
