Friendship With God!

| “A man who has friends must himself be friendly. But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” – Proverbs 18:12 |
A friend is defined by the Dictionary as a person with whom one has a bond of mutual affection.
What does Jesus say a friend is? Does the Bible mention anything about being a friend and maintaining good friendships? Yes it does!
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.” – John 15: 12 – 15
Before we can be great and loyal friends, we must first understand what it really means to be a friend and what better place to learn that lesson than at the feet of Jesus. You are my friends if you do what I command you… Are you a friend of God? Does He Know your name? Does He tell you all that He has heard from His Father?
