Holding Back...

These verses from today's reading hit me so hard... (I think this has been my mantra throughout this study and we're only rounding up Chapter 3!!!)

Sometimes, we unconsciously "post" people - I'd give you next week, tomorrow etc and we have the means to help right there and then!! Lord have mercy on us and give us grace!

Today for me has been a challenging day,  and all I've felt like doing is lashing out at whoever is unfortunate enough to put themselves in that position - then I come across verse 30 which admonishes me not to quarrel with anyone without cause, and just as I was about to use that to justify myself,  the Holy Spirit reminded me of Mathew Chapter 5, verses 39 - which is that dreaded verse about turning the other cheek and 44 which says we should love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us!

And so here I am, sitting humbly at the feet of Jesus asking for grace and mercy! 😊😊😊
