Trust In God!

Proverbs 3: 5 - 6 summarises the entire  reading of today - "Trust In the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths."

If we do this, we will:
-- Fear The Lord and
-- Turn from evil

Which will directly give us:
-- Great health (healing)
-- Refreshment (rest/peace)

We would also:
-- Honour God with our substance  (offerings and gifts)
-- Honour God with our first fruits  (first fruit offering and tithes)

And we will enjoy:
-- Fullness and plenty (no lack)
-- Overflowing harvest (we will have more than enough)

This reading also tells us the importance of loyalty and faithfulness and how having them will guarantee us favour and good repute in the sight of God and man! A blessing indeed!!

But remember, it all starts with this: My dear Sister, do not forget the teaching of the Lord but let your heart keep his commandments for length of days and years of life and abundant welfare they will give you!
